1979 Boys Cross Country

The Mentor boys, led by Memorial's Andy Haney, were surprise state qualifiers.  Haney finished third in the team race in Columbus, leading Mentor to a stunning third place team finish in the Class AAA (big schools).  The team was dominated by former Memorial runners.
