2018 Season

Time Trials at Penitentiary Glen

8.14 ~ Kirtland, Ohio
This past Tuesday at time trials, on the girls side, there were many performances that stood out. The girls have worked together very hard over the summer and came together as one and really showed how much better you can be when you put in miles over the summer. During the race the girls team tried to work together to finish as a team. We finished with two freshman in the top 7! This race set a great starting point for the season to come. We are very excited for this season and to see where it will take us. Overall, both teams had amazing performances and this was a awesome way to begin the 2018 cross country season! War on the Shore

8.20 ~ Ashtabula, Ohio
Monday was a tough battle against steep hills and soft sand for the majority of the girls. War on the Shore is undoubtedly the hardest course the girls team will run this year. The JV team ended up finishing 4th in team standings with beating many other varsity girls teams. Our outstanding performance of the meet was Hannah Burke. Hannah is a freshman and finished first on the team with a time of 23:43 only 43 seconds off her time at time trials with such a hard course! The girls team gave it their all and there were many other awesome performances. Overall, the girls team still needs to work out some kinks but it was a great race to watch the girls run.
